It is going to be a stretch to write on here more than twice a week. But, I am really going to try. So, here is my best shot.
A lot of Bryan's family is coming up this weekend, and we can't wait to get to see everyone. It is his brother Justin's birthday--and we are celebrating at our house. One of the greatest things about a new house----people to share it with. I guess I need to upload some photos of the house on here too for everyone to see. Hopefully I will get some pictures this weekend to post.
Baby B is doing great. I have been getting headaches which I don't really know what that is about. But, it stinks because I can't take the good meds...only tylenol which does NOTHING for a pounding head. Hopefully these will subside a little or at least get less frequent. I can see a baby bump for the first time. It is small but definitely present all the same. I will start taking pictures of the baby bump but I haven't decided if I will share them with the blogging world or not. Hope everyone has a great week!

Baby Benton
Ok, so after my visit to the doctor yesterday, I decided this blog was a must. It will be a way for me to post info and photos of the baby for everyone to see. Now, if I can just find the time to do it. I guess I should catch everyone up on what has been going on in the Benton house.
Bryan and I found out in late January that we are expecting our very first child. Bryan wants about 5 kids (I think he is trying to make a basketball team or something)--so I stress the word FIRST child. Our official due date is September 26, and we can't wait. I have been to two doctor's visits since we found out we were expecting.
At the first visit we got to meet with our doctor (I love him) and actually got to see our baby for the very first time. The baby's heartbeat was 171 and they said everything looked good. I am still not really sure that what they showed me was a baby. It looked more like a lima bean to me. But, I did see the flickering light that is the heart, so I guess I believe it.
Yesterday at the second visit I got to hear the heart beat on the Doppler, and then got another Ultrasound. The ultrasound tech said the fold on the baby's neck looked good and didn't seem to indicate DS (you want a small fold). I have learned more about babies in the last twelve weeks than I ever knew in my life. During the ultrasound the fetal heart rate was 158, and while she was capturing still photos, the baby did a jump. It just all of a sudden moved up on the screen, it was pretty amazing to see. I go back in 4 weeks and won't have an ultrasound that time. But, when I go in Mid-May I get to find out what I am having, and I can't wait for that.
We have planned a trip to the beach for the first week in June, and they have a great Carter's outlet, so I am glad I am finding out before we go so I can shop shop shop til I drop drop drop.
