Sorry--this draft never posted, so here it is now, almost two months late!
We are lucky in that Bryan and I both have families that like to vacation at the beach. So, we got to have two weeks at the beach this summer. And, both trips were great. It is always nice to have a few extra sets of hands with Martin. Bryan works 7 on, 7 off-- so we went a week, came home so he could work a week, and then went to the beach again. We usually stay in Destin, but this year we stayed in Fort Walton. Which is VERY close to Destin, but a lot less traffic, and the water and beach are just as pretty. I think everyone enjoyed the change of pace. Martin didn't know the difference. He knew there was sand, ocean, and a pool--ALL that he needed.

He is a great car traveler (thank goodness), and did really well on this trip too. He is really into dinosaurs at the current moment, so a few extra dino toys were a big hit! We ate some AWESOME food. And, of course had to get some hot now krispy kreme donuts. I mean it wouldn't be a trip to the beach if I didn't get some hot now donuts!
